Your Weapon Is Your Mind

About and Mission

Tiffany Morgan's mission is to be the translator between the well-intentioned, unknowing healthcare professional and the veteran. She has had a foot in both worlds for 15 years, not only as a veteran but also as a mental health professional, and can speak the language of both the veteran and the civilian clinician. This is how she wants to advocate for her brothers and sisters of future generations, by bridging the military-civilian divide.

Tiffany is a Navy veteran who served in the US Navy between 1997 and 2001 onboard an aircraft carrier as an Aviation Ordnanceman. She comes from a long line of military service in her family and is also married to a Navy veteran, so veteran's issues are near and dear to her heart. She utilized her GI Bill to obtain a Bachelor’s in Psychology and spent the first part of her career working in community mental health as a clinical case manager. Since then she has gone on to work with many veteran-serving nonprofits that focus on mental health and suicide prevention. She is personally invested in improving the lives of her fellow veterans and their families by teaching veterans how to take charge of their own recovery, goals, and mission, with an emphasis on being accountable to self first.

In 2019, Tiffany started her own small business called Your Weapon is Your Mind where she teaches organizations and mental healthcare professionals how to work with active duty service members, veterans, and their families by facilitating a Military Cultural Competency training. Over the past six years she has partnered with the Denver VA’s Veterans Community Partnership program, Michelle Kaye of Operation Equine, Veterans to Farmers, Centus Counseling, Comeback Yoga, Rocky Mountain Human Services Homes for All Veterans program, and many other SMVF-serving organizations to facilitate this engaging conversation.
